Sending your invites 4-6 weeks in advance will allow your guests to mark their calendars for your party and avoid accepting other invitations for Labor Day. Think Themes

You can easily go with a patriotic theme for a Labor Day party. Chances are you may still have some fabulous red, white and blue décor left over from a Memorial Day or Fourth of July party. Re-using decorations will help you save money, which is always nice.

However, if you want to try something a little different, perhaps a Labor Day White Party would be a fun idea. You know the old rule – you can’t wear white after Labor Day? You may just want to cook up some good ole fashioned hot dogs and hamburgers for your Labor Day party. After all, those are the barbecue standards. Kids love them, and it will give them a fun activity to enjoy while the adults get some time to mix and mingle.

Hiring a rock duo or a country band would be a nice treat for all of the guests. Good music goes a long way at any event. Adding quality entertainment is a great way to ensure that your end of summer Labor Day bash is a huge success!
