If you only know us from our blogs you might think that we’re real party animals here at GigMasters. While it’s true that there’s nothing we love more than a good reason to celebrate, we also spend our days working hard to perfect the entertainment booking process, making things as simple and secure as possible. With that in mind, we recently introduced our latest initiative, GigMasters Buyer Protection.
Here’s the quickie explanation: every event booked through GigMasters comes with the Accountability, Security and Support of Buyer Protection. It’s our way of showing the world the care we put into every event booked through GigMasters, as well as a little bit of what we do behind the scenes for every single one of our customers. Learn more in our Buyer Protection blog post.
And now back to your regularly scheduled partying…
Here on the Life of the Party blog, we covered a wide variety of parties. Everything from a Leprechaun Hunt, a 70th Birthday Party and how to plan the perfect spring party – because, in case you hadn’t noticed, it’s definitely springtime! We also dished out not one but two posts about hiring costumed characters for your child’s party. First came How to Hire a Costumed Character (spoiler alert: it’s easy to find and book a costumed character here on GigMasters) and yesterday, we posted this kids’ party tip – all about how to handle kids who get a little freaked out at the site of a giant Elmo. And really, who can blame them?
We were equally busy on Inside the Gig, our blog for performers and party pros. We already told you about our Buyer Protection announcement. You might also enjoy hearing about our top 10 most popular gig request types. Yes weddings and birthday parties top the list but there are also some surprises on there. Lastly, our good friend and GigMasters 5-star guitarist Matthew Cutillo stopped by to show us some love via video. Thanks Matt!
Finally over on the Wedding blog, the grooms got a little shine this week. Not only did we come up with a March Madness Wedding Playlist, but also this guest groomsman post from the Man Registry. And if you have ever planned a wedding or will be planning one soon, we recommend taking a look at our Focus on the Ceremony post. It’s filled with tips about planning your perfect wedding ceremony.
That’s about it for this week. Have a fantastic weekend and we’ll see you back here next week!
